Terms of Use — Estimates Provided As-Is

Acceptance

By using Pool Heater Calculator you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please don't use the site.

The calculators provide estimates

All outputs — BTU requirements, heating times, running costs, fuel comparisons — are estimates for informational purposes only. They are not engineering specifications, not professional advice, and not a substitute for the manufacturer datasheet of the exact model you buy. Real-world sizing depends on factors no web calculator can see: your gas line capacity, electrical service, local climate, installation details and cover habits. Verify against the manufacturer datasheet and applicable local codes before purchasing or installing anything.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We work hard to keep the formulas sourced and current, but codes, standards and prices change — always confirm critical figures against the official source linked on each page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pool Heater Calculator and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, including decisions to purchase, install or operate equipment based on calculator output.

Reuse and attribution

• The formulas and correction factors published on this site are industry-standard rules of thumb with cited public sources; you don't need our permission to use the math.
• Our written content, tables and tools may be quoted with attribution and a link; wholesale copying of pages is not permitted. Embedding the calculators via the provided Embed code is encouraged and allowed.
• Images are third-party licensed works (see the about page for credits); their licenses govern reuse.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links to retailers may be affiliate links. They are marked on the page where they appear, they never change the numbers a calculator produces, and no manufacturer has paid for placement or wording on this site.

Changes

These terms may be updated; material changes get a new date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
